Place known assets accurately, draw spotter bearings and distance circles, find their intersection, then measure a fresh firing line from the IRON NEST gun.

Place every known point exactly, draw each observation from its own origin, and use the intersection to locate the unknown target. Only after the target is located should you draw the final red line from the IRON NEST to the target. That last line—not a spotter line—provides the gun's bearing and range.
Place known assets first
Read the operation printout and place the IRON NEST, spotters, and reference points in the correct main grid. Then use the 10-by-10 sub-grid to position each token precisely. An error of one sub-grid square shifts every line that follows, so zoom in and verify the token before triangulating.
Do not begin with the target. Triangulation works because the observations start from positions the operation has already established.
Draw each report from the correct origin
An observation may give a bearing from a spotter or a distance from a known point. Draw the bearing line from that named spotter. Draw the distance circle around the named origin. The target lies where the independent observations intersect.
Two bearing lines can also form an intersection. Mission 3 demonstrations use multiple spotters to narrow an unconfirmed infantry position. Extra reports help identify a plotting error when the lines fail to meet cleanly.
Convert the intersection into a shot
Use yellow measurement tools while locating and checking the target. When the intersection is credible, place or confirm the target token. Then switch to the red tool and draw from the IRON NEST gun position to that target. The red measurement transfers the final range and bearing into the firing workflow.
This separation prevents a common mistake: a spotter reports what they see from their position, while the turret must aim from a different position.
Verify an imperfect intersection
If lines or circles form a small area instead of one point, recheck the token sub-grids and the direction convention before averaging anything. Check which observation is least precise, and use another report if the mission provides one. The map's explosion-radius tool can help reason about a target area, but it does not repair an incorrect origin.
